It’s fun to take the factory tour and see how bagged teas are blended, bagged, and packed in boxes in bigger boxes. I liked seeing bags and bundles of tea and tisane blend ingredients from around the world stacked to the ceiling. The place smells good. The tour ends in a gift shop selling their teas at a discount.
This is a beautiful and relaxing place. I have enjoyed the breakfast and brunch menus. The tea selection is large enough that I haven’t gotten through it in my visits, at least in the visits when I haven’t given in to the house chai, which is good and peppery. Teas are served with an hourglass steeping timer. The wait staff is knowledgable about the teas offered. The service is slow (sometimes very slow) but considerate. Relax, have another cup of tea, take in the hand carved and painted walls and ceiling, listen to the burbling fountain, and enjoy some time with your friends or family. Not a place to pop in if you are in a hurry.
