Bitter! Like chugging hot almond extract. Smells much nicer than it tastes.

Did not add milk as tea was yellow-light.

Liked it! I’m more of a coffee drinker, but this satisfied my inner caffeine fiend & sweet tooth. It is the best chocolatey tea I’ve ever had and has a fudgy aroma.

It does not need additional sugar AT ALL. I’ve had it on two separate occasions and the second time brewed it twice. The second cup from that tasted more like pu’erh than the first did.

I didn’t expect to care for this but the pu’erh is really great with chocolate. I’ll be buying it again.

I really enjoyed this brewed with a regular orange pekoe tea (for some body) and a splash of milk. My cup tasted like warm and slightly sweet banana bread!

However, I did want to point out that it took 25 g to brew one small cup. As a tisane, this is just dried fruits and nuts, no tea, which makes it very heavy. At $3.50 + a tea bag per glass, this is a little pricey compared to other teas. Based on that, I’ll probably keep trying other flavours instead of re-purchasing this.
