5 Tasting Notes
This may be one of the best rooibos teas I have had – it was a much more subtle flavour, which I actually prefer (unless I’m having a rooibos chai). It was a good afternoon tea to have and very relaxing.
Preparation
I’ve been meaning to indulge in this cup of tea for a while now, but whenever I open up my tea chest, my usual Earl Grey is always calling my name. This tea is surprisingly floral for a black tea – I usually enjoy my black teas with some milk (these days, Almond milk is my beverage of choice), but I think this tea would do well even without any milk. I don’t think this is the best breakfast tea, but I think I’m going to mix this tea into my afternoon rotation.
Preparation
I feel like a bit of a tea snob as I write this, but my snobbery will have to be put aside as this brand is the only one that is available at work. Chamomile is just so soothing and even though most folks may consider this to be a great “sleepytime” tea, I find it clears my head and helps me get through the work day. I’ll stick to my snobby brands at home though :)
Preparation
There is nothing more fantastic than a cup of Earl Grey tea with a bit of vanilla and a bit of (almond) milk. One of my favourite breakfasts is toast with plum jam and a cup of this tea. This particular Earl Grey doesn’t have a really strong Bergamot flavour – I always buy the loose tea and use my favourite mesh ball to steep it. The best part? Amazon carries it with Prime shipping, so whenever I’m running low, I just click the “oneclick” button and more tea magically appears.
