I come from a tea-drinking family. Black tea was the bread and butter for after dinner sipping. Of course, it was always accompanied by wonderful fresh-baked goodies: pryaniki, pichenki, blini, torti, rogaliki, and many more. Back then, the desserts were the star of the show for me. Moving out of my childhood home into my own new family, I soon saw the error of my ways. Now tea has become the main event, and dessert is on the back burner, if it even comes out of the shadows at all.
I enjoy a good black tea, jasmine infused greens, delicate whites, rooibos, homedried herbals including red raspberry leaf and mint.
