A lovely little tea shop tucked away on a back road in Saanich, nestled between a great cafe and a fun little candy shop. The teas are organized by base type as well as flavour profile, and there is a good selection of decaffeinated varieties as well. Most of their teas are from Metropolitan Tea Co, and a great variety of ayurvedic blends come from Tea Affair. The owners are fantastic, and are genuinely happy to see me when I go in. They also offer a decent discount if you take your tins back for a refill, and the discount varies based on tin size. They offer 4 different sizes of tins, or corresponding foil/paper bags, but with the discount on refills it’s worth it to make the initial investment (only about a dollar’s difference) and get a tin the first time around.
The adjacent cafe offers about a dozen of the tea shop’s teas to have a hot cup to go (or to go with a light lunch in the cafe) as well
