This is a wonderful little shop. As noted, they will make you a sample of anything you want to try. They have a huge selection and the prices are quite reasonable. They also will make you a huge variety of hot or cold teas. I had a very nice pomegranate sangria sort of thing with tapioca pearls. They also have a nice selection of cups and strainers and teapots and so forth. There are also baked goods but I haven’t tried any (though they look nice.) They have a frequent buyer program, so be sure to get a card if you’re in the area and will be back.

Wonderful little gem within a sea of big box retailers. This place is in a little strip mall just before getting to a major mall near Milwaukee Avenue in Vernon Hills. It’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. But when I went inside, there were many, many different teas and tea accessories. They will brew anything you want to try. There’s a great selection. It’s also relaxing to sit and have tea, eat or surf the web. I have not eaten there yet, but they have salads, sandwiches, scones, pastries and it all looks very tasty and fresh. I bought a couple of ounces of Ceylon Ratnapura black tea, which I’m enjoying now. Teas are very reasonably priced too. I love this little independent shop. I hope they get lots of business!
