This place is Nelsons first Tea House and I was very excited to go there opening day. I along with my friends were the first people to arrive and we were so happy with the place that we went an hour later for lunch making us the first and second customers. The couple who own it are very friendly and will frequently have conversations with me while I sip some refreshing tea and nibble on a Taiwanese treat that they serve. All the teas listed on the menu do not have a description of taste as you might expect but instead a list of health benefits. Adding to the health vibe all the food is vegetarian. I have been there about 9 or 10 times since they opened up 2 or 3 months ago and have enjoyed every visit. If you live in Nelson or are visiting you should come check it out. (if you want a personal recommendation having tried almost everything on the menu get the pot stickers if you want a snack or the rice noodles for a meal and for tea try the ashitaba or ming zi yi eh in mandarin.)
