Beautiful, relaxing place. One of Whyte’s greatest treasures!

This place has sadly closed, but I have so many good memories of wandering into this place on a rainy afternoon and drinking lovely teas. I found some of my favourites here and while the cafe is closed, the owner still sells tea online, so my favourites are mostly still accessible. <3

Steeps was the reason I first started loving tea! One of the first places in Edmonton to make specialty accessible to the general public, it has a very laid back vibe, an amazing selection of loose leaf teas and convenient late night hours. All of the teas are on the wall near the front for customers to smell as much as they want. Some of my favourites from Steeps are Canadian Bonfire, Market Spice and all of the delicious fruity Rooibos options! You can buy tea loose leaf or buy a pot to stay at the store, which makes it perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to hang out for a bit to study/work.

One of my favorite places to go for tea! In fact it was this lovely shop that got me to take the leap from chai lattes to loose leaf tea. The owner, Robin is absolutely amazing. She takes pride in her shop, offers wonderful service to customers and show a deep interest in getting to know each customer personally. She can pretty much remember every tea I’ve ever had and is always persuading me to try new things. Not to mention they have an AMAZING selection of loose leaf teas.
