Bishop’s is a family owned and operated business, selling coffee, teas, pastries and handmade chocolates. Bishop roasts her own coffees and blends her own teas. The shop itself is in a rather out of the way location, next to Taco Town, but worth the trip to visit. The decor is modern, spare and warm feeling, with work by local artists on the wall.
When I visited, I enjoyed the Earl Grey Lavender tea and a lavender chocolate truffle. Both were excellent. The owner helped me, and was very eager and knowledgeable, and willing to share her knowledge about teas and coffees. Tea and coffee are both sold in bulk in the store, but she does not carry her entire selection in the shop. More teas are available at the website.
I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because of the out-of-the-way location, and because this is a new and growing business. I feel this shop will only get better with time.
