Other than being so very photogenic, Postcard Teas has lovely teas inside!

The staff work with you one on one from start to finish. Their selection of teas is relatively small but high quality from small farms.

You can send postcards of tea from the shop (hence the name). I believe there was a selection of six or so of their popular teas that you could choose from. You address your postcard and they put it in the mail. You can taste any of their teas before buying for a little tasting fee as well.

Really fantastic and really lovely.

This truly is an art gallery for tea, the other reviews do not lie! Featuring teas you’d never see outside of their respective countries, the selection is truly a curated delight. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and approachable. Come to browse, try a tea brewed in the way to best bring out its individual character, and get your questions answered in a serene atmosphere. This is a must visit if you are coming to London, and should be a regular stop if you live here!

This tiny shop is built like a tea art gallery, and may daunt you at first – but don’t let it. The owner is kind and very knowledgeable. He loves talking about his tea, and is very proud of his shop – as he should be. The tins are delightful – each one has a “postcard” on it. You can smell all the teas, ask for recommendations, or stay for a tasting. The shop has an interesting selection of teas from all over the world, many single-estate and artisan teas, and most of them unavailable elsewhere. They also have a small selection of exquisite teapots, gaiwans and tea cups. A haven for tea lovers in central London. Fantastic!

A brilliant little gem of a tea shop, right in central London. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and the tea selection is really excellent. And you even get free cups of tea when you buy some to take home.

The only downsides are the fact that there’s no loo, and it’s so tiny that I always feel a bit pressured to drink my tea and make space for someone else to take my place, rather than being able to relax and take my time sipping different teas.

Go here. Ask questions. Drink tea. Talk about it. Repeat.

Several people recommended for me to come here and I was not disappointed. The shop is like an art gallery in itself with exhibitions of beautiful teapots, ornate brass caddies, and hand blown glass cups. Tim, the owner was incredibly knowledgeable and even more helpful. You can try any of the teas and Tim actively encourages you to do so. There are tea tasting events every Saturday at 10am and next time I am London I will be there. There is only room for six people mind you… umm perhaps I shouldn’t have told anyone after all…
