The Tea Room Edit

I love the selection of teas here! Reading the tea menu is like spinning a globe. This small but elegant café has everything a tea lover could desire – from the delicate china and silver strainers to the top-ups of hot water provided by the obliging and knowledgeable owner. And of course, the food to go with it!
The lunch menu is fairly standard but tasty (soups, salads, and sandwiches), and the freshly baked-in-house scones are FABULOUS. Really, I would say they’re the best I’ve ever tasted, and of course they come with the essential elements as well (namely, Devon cream and strawberry preserves).
A visit to The Tea Room makes for a lovely outing, a real treat. My favourite is the Buckingham Palace Garden Party tea – it tastes so elegant. And of course, gotta love those scones!

I love this place! Great selection of loose leaf teas. Delicious and fresh lunch items, my favorite is the Smoked Salmon Wrap. I can’t get enough of the scones, lemon squares and shortbread cookies and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the washroom always sparkles.

The Tea Room is a French style tea cafe that tends to a bit of a British afternoon tea crowd. They have a wide selection of teas from TeaFrog and Metropolitan Tea, and offer really nice light meal type food selections. The Scones with Devon Cream are fantastic, that and a cup of Rooibos Love and my afternoon is set!
