A bright, bustling place, lots of people hanging out and working. Would be a nice place to come to hang out with friends as an alternative to a coffee shop. A good place to introduce non-tea-drinking family to tea, as there’s probably something for everyone.

They have a really wide range of teas, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some less-than-stellar offerings. We had their Big Red Robe (mine, in gaiwan) and Honey Dong Ding Oolong (in a really pretty mug). Presentation was nice, and the tea was nice. I was happy with my tea, the flavor was good, if not as lingering as other similar Wuyi oolongs I’ve owned and enjoyed. I only had a sip of the honey oolong, but it was really pleasant as well.

This is one of the best tea shops to hang out in Seattle, and they serve great teas. They sell their teas in awesome tins, and for the most part I think their tea is great-I recommend the Coconut Black and the St. Bourbon red!

I have also found the tea quality to be a bit sporadic. I had a citrus infused green that was less than ideal. However, they have a good selection of teas, and some yummy seasonal oolongs.

Good place to hang out with nice atmosphere. The tea is all over the place, from delightful to horrifying, but I like the owner and the tea jockeys are not bad either. Talk to the owner if you want a superior tea. Some of the food can be quite nice, but not paired very well with the teas.
