A group of friends and I, from the Let’s Go to Afternoon Tea meetup group out of San Jose, CA had the Celebration Tea at Bloomsbury this past Saturday, Dec 3rd, 2011. We were seated in the Mad Hatter room in the back. We have been to Bloomsbury several times and it is always a delight. The foods are better than average. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. Last I knew, they served loose leaf Harney & Son Teas. Bloomsbury is sponsored by Concept 232 Incorporated, which is a non-profit public benefit volunteer corporation. Proceeds from Bloomsbury Tea Room help provide complimentary Victorian style tea parties for those less fortunate in our community, including at-risk youth and children, shut-ins, seniors and those affected with life threatening medical conditions. Enjoy an outstanding afternoon tea and know you are helping good causes!
