Anaba Tea Room Edit

Anaba is truly wonderful! The basement is well set up, though I do wish there were more comfy surfaces to sit on. Excellent variety of Rishi tea. The food is truly outstanding. I’ve never ordered anything that has disappointed me.
Tips:
1) Sit upstairs, if at all possible.
2) Get the afternoon tea for two. It comes with a pot of whatever tea you chose, plus cucumber sandwiches, curried egg salad sandwiches, some of the best smoked salmon sandwiches I’ve tasted, chicken salad sandwiches (which have a very light and intriguing sweet flavor to them), scones, crumpets and a little bit of salad. The best part is the homemade Devonshire cream and lemon curd.
3) Go often! :)

They come with fresh devonshire cream made in-house, lemon curd, and typically some form of preserve or another. It’s glorious.

Did I mention that they carrie some 45+ varieties of Rishi Tea?
