Clear amber hue, brews up strong in the cup as the leaves unfurl. Clean on the palate, rich, astringent, hearty. Excellent alone, or with the addition of sugar. Can stand up to the addition of milk. Can become bitter if over-brewed.
Perfect blend. I usually drink pure varietals. Good with a touch of milk. Smooth. Appeals to everyone in the family and most guests. I’ve “converted” several coffee drinkers with this one.
