This is my daily morning cuppa. A strong, basic British tea that’s good with milk, which can be astonishingly hard to find in America at most supermarkets.
It’s not a fancy tea, but in my opinion it’s superior to most readily available teas in the USA. And it’s cheap enough that I don’t have to even think twice about having a cup a few times a day (I’m rarely drink coffee, so this is my version of it).
I buy it on Amazon where you can get two BIG boxes with free Prime shipping. Lasts our household about 6 months, and ends up being cheaper than buying inferior tea at the supermarket!

One of my favorites! This one is a yummy flavored black tea without overpowering added flavors like so many teas that are popular. It’s delicious and reminds me very much of the French Line tea.
Good with milk, but I have to brew it extra strong to stand up to it. I tend to go through a tin quickly because I brew it nearly double strength.

This is one of the very best English Breakfast teas I have ever tried. No, really.
I like a STRONG, BOLD English cuppa (inherited from my grandmother!) and this one suits the bill. It’s got a great malty flavor, brews strong enough to get that delicious caramel color when I add milk.
This was my daily morning tea until I discovered I could buy P.G. Tips in bulk, but now that I’m writing this I’m thinking it needs to go back into rotation. It’s great if you’re a lover of bold tea with milk.

I may be one of the few people who really aren’t a fan of Teavana teas. Sadly, this one was lacking for me, too.
I like a strong black tea with natural flavors, and all of the teas I have tried have a sadly overpowering flavor. The black teas of theirs I have tried are pretty lackluster, especially considering the price. Sadly, I have never found one I have liked.
I’d suggest trying Upton Tea’s Earl Gray Creme. I find it superior to this one.

This one is quite incredible.
I’m usually not a fan of flavored black tea, other than the classic Earl Gray, but this one changed my mind.
It tastes natural- not like the awful fake taste of so many American made flavored teas. It’s a perfect blend that will even satisfy an ardent, typically british style black tea drinker like me.
I tried this at a tea salon in Orange, CA and asked them to brew it stronger, since I typically like a bold English tea. They got it right, and it became the yummy caramel color with my milk, which means it’s brewed to an adequate strength for my taste.
I promptly got home and ordered this tea, I liked it so much. I do brew it stronger than it probably was designed for, which means I go through a tin pretty quickly. I’m just about to order my second tea! I can see this being a regular rotation in my cupboard, and when I’m having a hard afternoon this one brings me some cheer. I mean, how cool is it that you’re drinking fruit grown in the actual garden of Versailles? Instant travel in a cup. Yes, please.
