Light on first steep, caramel and dark later. Claims of honey, but not sure I see that.

This was a very pleasant darjeeling. Slightly vegetal, a bit roasty, I haven’t had too many first flushes, so I’m curious to see how this compares to some of the others in what-cha’s sampler.

I don’t know if I’d buy a full tin just yet. Variety is more interesting.

A subtle oolong, very roasted, slightly sweet.

Fine Assam, but not remarkable.

Surprising oolong. My first time trying a jin xuan tea, and I definitely plan to drink it again.

This is a fantastic tea. Worth the praise it receives. Got a sample of this with my other Discover orders from what-cha, and I’m really happy I got to try it.

I was initially skeptical, especially as my first pour was diluted a bit with milk, but this is a very nice Assam. Improves as you keep drinking it.

Nice, light green tea. I’m don’t normally drink green tea, so not too much to say — there’s a light green mango flavor which you can’t ignore once you notice it. Refreshing.

Part of Verdant’s sampler pack (I think) — a few progressive steeps. Very floral at the start, then buttery. I think I need shorter steep times and smaller pours.

Light, honey fragrance — going to drink through Upton’s Oolongs, but this was a good start.
