This tea is on the expensive side ($8/oz), so my expectations were high. I fell in love with the soft, even needles. It smelled beautiful while steeping. The liquor aroma was also beautiful – a sweet, but strong grassy smell. However, the liquour itself disappointed somewhat. It had hardly any taste at all. I have tried steeping for less time, and for more time, but can’t seem to get much flavour out of it. I would also have liked it to be a brighter, more typical Sencha colour. I will try a different brand of Sencha next time.
