“Mouth watering” refreshing yet satisfying tea.
My “appetizer” tea great for opening the palate before a great meal.

This is also an awesome tea to pair with Japanese sashimi or sushi or a great Korean banchan.

A fresh way to appreciate it ice cold with honey as well.
Bring out many “light” slight perfume of the roasted rice… An awesome aroma trust me.

This tea was introduced by another fellow Genmaicha lover.
Its my handy everyday pantry tea… Not for the small packet drinker.

Best steeped for a slightly longer time than average tea, in a below boiling temp. filtered water.

Favorite tea is white tea.
Getting older so love that lighter notes and extra antioxidants benefits plus less caffeine to get that zen like sleep.
Crave Singaporean hawker center powder brewed red tea with extra condensed milk… Tehgunetua… Also Tehtarik with ginger. My kind of “British tea” colonial Raffles style.
Love round teapots…. Favorite shape.
Collect solid colour teapots…
Have a 8-10 cup midnight blue, a 4 cup red, a sage green Starbucks 3 cupper, an ivory white art deco antique 3 cupper, and a newly acquired “for life – curve” 24oz 2 cupper in graphite (black).. Love this last one best, no drip spout and a great infuser.
Also have a small cast iron Japanese teapot…
And a stainless steel tea kettle with wooded handles.
Plus a mother in law who is crazy about fine bone china teacups and teapots.
Born from a tea drinking family in a heavily infused tea culture.
