Formerly known as “Copenhagen” if my memories served me right…

My dear sister is the one who took me here as “TWG” for the first time.
They have hundreds of teas all listed in the menu grouped under different continents and countries.
I had a pot of “red tea” from africa but I had forgotten its name… I remember the glorious red tea served from the clear tea pot though… And my awesome time with my sister.

What more can I ask for with that great time for great memories and that great perfectly brewed tasty pot of tea??

While it was crowded when I was there (peak tea hours), table was full but we spent a good couple hours there unhurried nor hassled by any of the staff… So the service is quite professional, my thoughts.

A great experience for me indeed.

Favorite tea is white tea.
Getting older so love that lighter notes and extra antioxidants benefits plus less caffeine to get that zen like sleep.
Crave Singaporean hawker center powder brewed red tea with extra condensed milk… Tehgunetua… Also Tehtarik with ginger. My kind of “British tea” colonial Raffles style.
Love round teapots…. Favorite shape.
Collect solid colour teapots…
Have a 8-10 cup midnight blue, a 4 cup red, a sage green Starbucks 3 cupper, an ivory white art deco antique 3 cupper, and a newly acquired “for life – curve” 24oz 2 cupper in graphite (black).. Love this last one best, no drip spout and a great infuser.
Also have a small cast iron Japanese teapot…
And a stainless steel tea kettle with wooded handles.
Plus a mother in law who is crazy about fine bone china teacups and teapots.
Born from a tea drinking family in a heavily infused tea culture.
