200 Tasting Notes
My Birt & Tang order has come through so I can try several of their blends. This one tastes and smells like cannabis (apparently). You can’t taste the raspberry unless you really look for it, but I quite like that. You’re meant to brew it for 5 mins but I might try less next time
This is from Kerala in South India. My friend brought it back from her holiday, and I am very excited. She is a brilliant person. This is a nice gentle black tea that requires no milk. Once I have had some more I’ll write some more comments on this, but I thoroughly recommend it!
This was the other tea that the Red Cross sent me. It smelled a bit like PG Tips and I was worried it would taste like that too, but it was actualy a very good breakfast tea. It was dark and excellent with milk, but less strong and more smokey than some breakfast teas. If you ever come across it, it’s worth a try.
The Red Cross sent me a tea bag. It’s as if they know me really well! I always thought that a Kenyan and Assam blend would be incredible, but I wasn’t as impressed as I was expecting. That said, the assam flavour was very tasty with tastes of berries. A final comment: I didn’t let it brew long and it went very strong, so ifyou drink this, be careful not to over-brew
