First off, Matcha tea is my favorite tea (so far). This is the brand I own. I love the stuff, but for some reason, lately the taste hasn’t been as great as I remembered. It looks fine, and it smells divine! However, after I whisk it, make it all frothy, and add just a little bit of honey, it almost tastes….soapy. Even with the honey it is bitter and soapy. It wasn’t like that before. I remember my tea having that wonderful sweet, matcha taste to it. Now it barely tastes like tea at all! I wonder if it is my tap water, or the way I am whisking it. Whatever it is, I just want the beautiful taste of my match bacl :(
