A friend just reminded me that cute mini tote doesn’t make good gift sense to most male puerh drinkers. That’s true! Now adding to gift option is a puerh knife with any puerh purchase. Maybe you can help me Gingko… what the heck is Amber Pu Erh? I got it in my Maestro Collection from Adagio and I’ve never heard of it til now.
I have no idea. It sounds like a descriptive name, not a name of classification. But I searched Adagio website and didn’t find an amber pu erh product. Is it another name of the puerh gold in the maestro collection?
Ok… that’s weird… they changed the name! Yeah, that’s the product I’m talking about. Amber pu erh, golden pu erh, whatever it is I’ve never heard of it.
It looks more like Golden Curls than pu erh. Pu erh, at least in my mind, is always dark. My main question is whether it’s shu, sheng, or something all together different. As I’ve never heard of Amber/Golden Pu erh before I’d like to know what to expect. I love sheng (well, at least my 1 experience w/ it), but do not get overly excited over shu.
I like more sheng than shu too. Overall I feel most shu’s flavor is rather hollow. But I will try some less oxidized shu later and see if I will like it better.
Oh my goodness this looks awesome. I just ordered more tea from Simple Leaf… oh man. What to do.
Edit: Well, I did.
I have only had one sheng puer so far, and it was intensely smoky. I don’t think most are supposed to be that way, and I have loved the shu puer that I have tried (the ones that weren’t fishy) so I’m really curious and excited for this to get here :D I would like the puer knife, as I don’t think my gf or I need a bag. I’m Alex Krusz.

Hi Alex, I saw your order. Your tea has been packed, along with the puerh knife, and will be shipped tomorrow morning. An email has been sent to you with tracking number. Puerh is so diverse therefore it’s always good to sample before buying a big cake. I will try to add more samples in the future.
It’s my idiosyncrasy, but I really enjoy breaking a 2006 Guan Zi Zai Meng Ku Bing Dao. I enjoy putting the knife inside the cake and pull leaves apart. It’s quite a sensation :-D

Hi Cofftea, I just tried it on my computer and it worked ok. Was the error message from paypal or about the internet viewer?
The paypal shopping system allows people to use credit card without a paypal account. When I tried checking out, I saw paypal login option on bottom right of the page, and credit card option the bottom left of the page. Is this the same as what showed up on your screen?

Sure! My only experience w/ shu has been Adagio, I’m skeptical- but I’ll give ’em a shot:)
