Tea Sources

Hello Everybody, I’m new to the tea world and I was wondering.. I would like to know some really good quality certified pesticide free organic teas because I’m fairly conscious about my health when it comes to things I would intake daily. I heard a lot of negative speculations about Mei leaf and I’ve sourced lots of my information from them. He claims it’s very unlikely to find high quality organic tea because farmers use the organic price point to justify their bad teas. Is this true? And if so am I really tea-doomed?

Essence of Tea , Yunnan Sourcing, Mandala, Crimson Lotus and White2Tea sites have proprietors that you can talk too and discuss what they have. I personally would give them WAY more credibility on what they tea you vs the one you spoke of earlier. Message them and I am sure you will get a fairly quick reply from any of them. Their guidance will benefit you I think.

Thank you I will give them a shot I hope my questions get answered

I would also make the argument that, while good quality organic certified tea is out there, it also seems less prevalent when it comes to small batch or independent tea producers because the certification process itself is incredibly expensive and challenging to obtain if you’re operating at small scale. Because of this, there are many tea producers who actually do observe organic practices but because of the time/cost and resources needed are unable to procure official certification.
