There are some fandoms that are gonna come back because there’s just so much to cover or we’re such big fans – and Star Trek is clearly going to be one of them. I was excited to see more of the Star Trek universe and was also thrilled that I wouldn’t be jumping into this new facet of the Trek universe alone because we had a Guest Geek for this episode: Cody from TheOolongDrunk! Cody is infamous for his love of Lana Del Ray, but unlike our previous Guest Geek Tori (who was familiar with the fandom we brought her on for) this was a fandom we were completely blindly throwing him at! Honestly, I think we both handled it well!

S2E10 – Ghostbusters (1984)
So, I love Ghostbusters. While it’s probably an unfair box to place this movie in… To me Ghostbusters is a Halloween movie. A great Halloween movie – but a Halloween movie nonetheless. So I’m really glad we chose this fandom to tackle because getting to revisit it again through Marika’s very passionate eye really changed my perception for the better. Truthfully, this was the least “fandom-y” fandom I felt we’d tackled, but now I definitely feel that way a lot less.
