what's going on with the navigation bar?
i noticed things jump around, and it got more rounded looking….Places? that’s new? meep what’s up steepsterites, are you seeing it too?
yup stuff is going crazy for sure, i can now rate tea places / shops … that’s new
I don’t like that there’s no easy way to get to the latest tasting notes. The live stream is kind of cool but I don’t think it’s nearly as useful. It’s harder to find people who are actively reviewing teas I like now.

is there an Easter egg to search by tea blender / company ? i used that feature a ton to help me get to the minimum free shipping for certain sites. when i click tea right now i can see most popular, or by type…
If you’re looking for a specific tea from a specific company, you can just search the tea name and company name using the search bar in the top right. If you include both of those it will help find results specifically for that tea company.
If you want to see all the teas a company has to offer, that link is available on the tea page. Just click the company name listed under the tea name (ex: Black tea by ____). That will take you to the “company page” which lists some of their most popular teas on Steepster and also shows their most recent tasting notes. You can also click the “See all” button in the top right on that page to list all of that company’s teas and view them with different sorts and filters.
I think the easiest way to get to a specific company is to go to Teas, and then in the Companies section on the right bar, click the letter that the company’s name starts with. This brings up a pop-over list with those companies.
It might be nice if there was a way for your new notices to show up on the top bar, given that messages are already being put up there.
Also, this would be sort of taken care of if you do the above… but, if a notice pertains to something that you have already seen before you viewed your new notices, maybe it should be marked as seen automatically. Like, if I reload this discussion and see some replies on my post, there’s no need for that to also show me a new notice next time I go back to my Dashboard.
Why must you confused us steepster gods and completely change the layout each time =P

For the 1st time, a change I’m not thrilled about. Oh well- I’m not the only one here=D
Yeah I kind of feel like it’s a downgrade, but it’s alright.
The only one I don’t like is the places feature. I just don’t feel like steepster should reinvent the wheel of an existing website. But that’s my biggest “complaint” so life is good:)
While it’s mostly core features now, we have tons of ideas where to grow the places. And what makes it really exciting (for us) is all the ways we can integrate them into your experience with Steepster and tea in general. We’ll be able to make some very cool connections, so hopefully those will be more your style ;)
