Letting go of tea I don't love

Hi there,

I have just started buying and learning about loose leaf tea over this past year. It has been such a joy! I’ve found so many teas I love. But I realized a few weeks ago that I am forcing myself to drink the teas I don’t love, too. I’m considering trading for teas I might like better, or just giving them away for shipping. Do I have to fill out my cupboard, or can I just list them here? What works best? Thanks!

I would just list what you want to trade or give away.

I agree. :)

You might also want to mention what types of teas you would want to trade for, i.e.. exchange for.

Would you sell them? If so, I could take them all off your hands.

What I love is wuyi oolong, tieguanyin that is not heavily roasted, Taiwanese oolongs that are not heavily roasted, and green teas. Like I mentioned, I love Jabberwocky by Whispering Pines. What other blacks might I like? I also like some jin jun meis with backbone.

I can’t drink shu due to a health condition that keeps me from consuming fermented foods. But I adore sheng.

I’ll swap you some yancha if youd like

Hello my tea friends, I have three packages of Ruby 18 black teas that I’m just not enjoying. They are all good teas, I just don’t enjoy the tomato-mint thing that this varietal had going on. At least that’s how it tastes to me!

Let me know if you’re interested and we can work out a swap.

Song Tea Twenty-One, about 40g
Dachi Sun Moon Lake, about 110g from two packs

And a random sheng
2010 YS Pasha mountain, 25g

Thanks!

I’m interested. What are you looking for? If you’re still interested in greens, I think I have quite a bit.

Hi Julie! Do you have anything on my wishlist?

I’m such a bonehead, I’ll check.

I don’t think I do, off the top of my head. But, I will double check. It might take me an hour or so. TWD is on. Lol

:D

I don’t have any of those. :(

I mostly have small samples left or David’s Teas and such. :/

Bummer. It doesn’t have to be exactly what’s on my wishlist, but I’d be looking to swap for close to an equivalent value, which is around $70-75.
