Out of the three that came in this set, I was looking forward to this one the most since I’m always looking for a yummy desserty peppermint. The smell of the tea is quite disappointing. It’s heavy on the black. Was hoping for more peppermint than actual tea leaves. Plus the peppermint smells more medicinal than candy-like, leaning towards eucalyptus.

The smell of the steeped tea smells more like candy cane, however. Tastes like a muted peppermint with standard bagged black tea.

Three cups of black tea in the morning an an empty stomach. Not a good idea.

Right off the bat, this one smells better than their Holiday Spice. It has a ginger pow and nothing much more. Maybe a hint of sweetness but nothing that says “I’M GINGERBREAD!” The ginger aroma transfers in flavour too. But again, tastes like some other random bagged tea I’ve had in the past. Actually, these spicy bagged teas make me want Bigelow’s chais. Those are actually better than this, especially their caramel chai, if I remember correctly.

Oh yeah, so how was everyone’s Halloween? I went to David’s to pick up their special sample but by the time I got there, they were all out. Apparently they were out by 4pm. Serves me right for not checking until 8pm.

In go two bags with some half and half. Still not bad. Something about this that still reminds me of Tim Hortons.

Whenever I randomly buy low grade tea, I feel compelled to drink it all ASAP to get it all out of the way.

I know what you mean. I usually end up making massive pots of tea with it or icing it. Best way to get rid of it!

Icing is totally the best way to get rid of unwanted tea!

I totally love icing more unloved teas. That is the only way I can get my family to drink them!

Oh, Steepster, uploading photos upside down now are you? So strange. I picked up a set of three teas at Winners (I’m beginning to think they’re never going to get Fauchon ever again). Cute packaging but I’m not expecting much because they’re bagged and some random brand you never see anywhere. This is basically just a cinnamon black tea. It’s alright. With half and half, it reminds me of the chai you can get at Tim Hortons when ordered with cream.

I was pretty surprised with this one! I got it on sale a long time ago and it was pushed to the back of a cabinet and I found it recently and had a cup tonight!

It was pretty good! Even tho it was a mild black tea the pom flavoring was tasty! It wasn’t over done and was yummy both hot and cold!

I think I like it a little bit more cold than hot but regardless I enjoyed a cup of each! The aroma is pretty yet fruity. Nice!

Ok if you are in a pinch. Back logging. Fairly strong for a cheap bagged green tea but a bit of an aftertaste.

I remember why I didn’t log this one…NOT memorable at all…not much of an earl grey.

This is surprisingly good for an inexpensive bagged tea. The bag prior to steep is minty, minty, minty. After steeping it’s toned down quite a bit but the flavor is refreshing and minty and green! It’s a good ‘even steven’ type of mint green tea to have on hand. I’m just finishing a cup right now…ahhhhhh!

That’s funny … I reached nearly an identical conclusion a tin of Bentley’s minty mint green … don’t suppose they’re two labels from the same distributor? (It was good!)
