Description from WhiteHerontea.com:
Full-flavored organic green tea leaves. Slightly smoky. Chinese tea produced in Zhejiang Province in which each leaf has been rolled into a small round pellet.
Flavors: Bitter, Smoke
Preparation
This is such a pretty tea… its beautifully coloured, a nice green with large rose petals in it…. it tastes just as pretty as it looks… i can taste the rose, but i can also taste lemongrass and ginger…. its a lovely blend.. i’m going to try it iced later today :)
Preparation
Again, the water temperature is not accurate since I do not have a thermometer.
The dry leaves look good, some stems, but big white leaves. The liquor has a dark colour compared to many whites and has a prominent honeydew melon scent which is absolutely lovely. Just a bit of leafy bits in the bottom of the cup. The tea is sweet and the melon flavour is just right, mild but very noticeable. It has a nice warmth to it and is only slightly dry. It leaves a lemony aftertaste which is nicely surprising! Overall a very pleasing tea.
Preparation
This tea is a green Pu-erh. It steeps up to a golden color, much darker than the usual green. It has a deep rich taste much more like an Oolong than a Pu-erh. The taste is more of a floral earthy taste, not vegetal at all. The taste is slightly sweet. I was able to get 3 infusions from this tea, all very nice and tasty.
Preparation
I found this at my health food store. I really like the darker tuo cha so I thought I would try it. I bought 12 buttons for only 1.60. This is a green puerh and I’m really surprised. This tea has a natural sweetness to it and is one of the best green teas I have had. I’m not normally a green tea drinker, but this tea really reminds me of an Oolong. The tea brews up a golden color much like a Darjeeling. It has a rich floral taste and a slight floral aftertaste. I like this tea.
