I’ve never had this blend in my cupboard at home but we have it at work and I go through phases of craving it non-stop (particularly in colder months), brewed in the pot with half boiling milk and half steamed milk and a lil drop of honey to sweeten it. Right now I’m at the peak of cravings and have a pot every shift!
I don’t have this in my cupboard at home but we’ve just got it in at the hotel for the season! My boss hasn’t moved into “weird tea” land before so I’m very excited and doing my best to promote it because it’s delicious. The other reviewer is right, a bit of milk and sugar and it’s a delicious dessert tea.
another from VariaTEA who picked this up from Memily. I have to say…this one is strange. It’s vanilla like but it’s also very much NOT vanilla like as well. Not sure how to wrap my brain around this one. It’s like a floral, fruity, creamy sort of weird thing. lol not my favourite, but i didn’t hate it haha thanks ladies!
Right, I’ve been through a 50g box of this now and I’ve gotta say, I’m a fan. Very nice. Just sweet enough to not need sugar(no sugar, no, makes it crazy sweet, big mistake) and what I discovered with the very last of the box today is that a 24hr cold brew tastes amazing with a shot of gin. So that’s a win for me. Done. I’m sold. Restocking this next time I do an Art of Tea shop.
A beautiful, light and sweet brew with clear vanilla and fruit hints. I pulled it out for afternoon tea with my friend today, partly due to her flavour profile request and partly due to the fact that Hobart woke up this morning to a mountain absolutely coated in snow. This is definitely the most snow I’ve seen on kunanyi since I moved here two years ago, and a lot of locals are saying it’s the most snow they’ve seen for far more years than that. It’s very exciting for this little ex-Queenslander, though I was restrained and stayed off the roads instead of rushing to the mountain—the pinnacle road is closed due to the heavy snow but I was strongly considering parking and trekking up a bit further to some heavier snow to play in. Having said that, a lot of local roads in and out are closed due to the snowfall and I don’t expect I would have been the only rubbernecker on the road, so I played it sensible and stayed inside. To be honest, it was a LOT warmer inside than out today, too! I think we barely got above zero celcius in apparent temperatures. This is a perfect winter day for me. I wish it was like this more often.
Anyway, tea, yes. I wonder if Art of Tea will consider renaming the tea, based on the dual naming policy that came in for the mountain at the start of the year. I love the word kunanyi and I hope it will overtake the white word in usage, as uluru has done.
Oh, boo. Picked snooze for my bedtime tea last night, I have three different sleepy herbal teas at my bedside tea station… overkill? Nah. Anyway, I had a bit of an upset tummy last night and I think it decided the hibiscus was a bit too bitter.
Why do people put hibiscus in sleepy teas, anyway? Riddle me this.
Tucked in bed with a cup of Snooze after venturing out to the T2 Tea Society Mother’s Day event tonight. I was wrong, we didn’t get a random box of T2 tea tonight—there’s a first time for everything! What we DID get was a whole medium tin full of a blend we got to come up with by ourselves, from a small selection of T2’s teas. Overwhelming pressure on a perfecteaonist like me. I’m going to have to add mine as a custom blend on steepster because hey, I’ve got a whole tin of it now…
Also bought one of this month’s limited edition teas because I couldn’t resist that lush box any longer.
Also took a bunch of teas along to swap with a friend and ended up getting more in return than I bargained for. Sipdowns coming up… eek!
But for now, Snooze and then snooze. And then in the morning… snooze.
Welp, can’t have a sleepy blend without dat chamomile now, can we?
This one’s been in my physical cupboard since December (a Christmas gift from work) and yet somehow I missed it in the Great Steepster Cupboard Own-Up of 2014. I spotted it tonight when I was shuffling things around and decided to unbox it and bring it upstairs to join my bedside tea station.

Anyway, yes. Here’s another tea in my cupboard, bloody bollocksy bum-bums. My sipdowns were going so well! AND I just got four new teas in my new Monstrositea box this morning and that means my Mr Earl box won’t be far behind and I’m going to a T2 Tea Society event tomorrow night where we always get goodies including a free box of tea LIFE IS SO HARD. ALL I WANT IS A NEAR-EMPTY CUPBOARD. WOE.

I have been waiting to try this one because it has chocolate in it, which means sugar, which means a big no-no on my diet. I decided that this morning would be a cheat morning and am trying all my black teas from recent swaps with agave in them.
This one is really good! The chocolate is very subtle, but I like that! The black tea base is malty and delicious! I will save this one for my cheat days!

My first experience with this tea was not as good as I had hoped. This tea tasted almost exactly like grape expectations, but without the horrible bitterness. I didn’t get any strawberry or champagne. It also tasted kind of dusty or stale. I think next time I will give it a shorter steep and also try it iced at some point.
