what a great tea!!
a very good yunnan black with big and whole loose leafs (according to the main reseller from 300-500 year old wild arbor trees in yunnan!) and golden tips, perfectly oxidized, no hashness or bitterness, intense fruity alcoholic plum like smell and a mildly spicy calming whole aromatic flavor.
it has all it needs to be a good yunnan black tea, all packed into a mild aromatic flavour cloud without beeing too intense in flavor like DJ or too mild.
i really recommend you to try it as it is very balanced and has a good cha qi after the third brew.
i recommend 80°C, first steep 20 seconds, second steep 10 seconds, third steep 20 seconds. fourth can be done with 30 seconds, but is not really needed for the best chi effect.
you don’t often get a tea with this intense plum, raisin alcohol flavor while beeing malty and dusty, earthy like a very good ripened pu erh.
Flavors: Alcohol, Dust, Earth, Fruity, Malt, Plum, Raisins, Spices
Preparation
A very confident white tea. It’s made of Pu Erh tree leaves and has an interesting mixture of white buds and dark oxidized leaves. I found orange juice and orange blossom aromas and a nice pungent energy with not too much woodyness.

Such a lovely red tea. I love the looks of the big leaves with their eponymous white tips and golden fuzz all over. The dark caramel coloured liquor is very gentle and has hints of flowers, malt, sweetness and creaminess, being very thirst-quenching overall. Works both western and Gongfu styles very well. Preparation
Dark Pearl Oolong from Taitung, Taiwan has very attractive dark dry leaves in ball shape, they adumbrate the origin of the name Oolong, black dragon. It gives a nice dark red brew many times in a row, tasting like dates, caramel and cinnamon. Overall, I think there are some more complex things missing out in this tea. It is very nice, but not very interesting. Ideal for a first encounter with Taiwan dark Oolong maybe, as it gives an obvious example of how sweet tea can be.
Flavors: Caramel, Cinnamon, Dates, Honey, Roasted, Sweet
Preparation
This organic Chinese Oriental Beauty is a great everyday dark Oolong. The young small leaves taste like forest honey, orange peel, clove and give a hint of bread. Very sweet and satisfying. Not all too many infusions are possible with this kind of tea, due to its needle rolling shape.
Flavors: Bread, Clove, Honey, Orange Zest, Sweet
