Tried this hot for the first time. This is very nice if you’re looking for a basic tea with a fruity kick. The base is orange pekoe, and this stands out in the beginning of the sip, with just a hint of fruitiness (mostly mango). The aftertaste, on the other hand, becomes very fruity. The flavour overall reminds me of a Mango Hurricane smoothie from Booster Juice. Very surprised by how much of a fruity after taste this brought. Going to up my rating on this one; it’s very enjoyable hot.
Flavors: Fruity, Guava, Mango
Preparation
Another that I bought over two years ago based solely on the fact that it smelled good; I didn’t drink tea at the time. Tried a cold brew of this because I’m trying to drink through some of my teas before I buy more, and this one made that list. Hopefully this will give me the boost I need to finish my case study without keeping me up ALL night.
The black tea is the heaviest note here. Similar to an English Breakfast, though I’m not really an expert in the black tea department. There is a noticeable mango taste while drinking, but it doesn’t linger. Not really getting guava at all.
Flavors: Mango
Preparation
This one has such a low steeping temperature. I was getting impatient waiting for the thermometer to beep. Dry, this one smelled quite sweet, but not in a sickening way. Steeped, it still smells sweet, but the scent has changed slightly and it’s reminding me of something I can’t quite put my finger on.
From the sweet scent I was expecting more. The taste is a bit like sugared warm water. Hopefully something more comes through as it cools.

This tea is incredible!
I have such trouble sleeping at night and this tea is like my life-saver!
It not only tastes amazing, but it leaves this wonderful creamy-like feeling that coats the back of your throat, but only appears after you let its residue sit back there for a few minutes. I can leave it steep for 4 minutes or I can let steep all night long and enjoy it cool in the morning, it’s amazing either way.
Satya Tea is a little hidden gem in Nova Scotia. I buy their tea from my local Farmers Market and they should be launching their new online store soon, as they have told me. I would encourage anyone to google them and check them out!
