My first white tea (thanks, Martin!). The cherry flavor and smell is really nice! It reminds me of some sort of dessert I’ve had before but can’t quite remember! The perfect tea for winding down before bed. :)

Thermomug time.
In memory of our old (around 60 years) cherry tree, which is going to be cut down in fall

It makes me sad to see that tree go. But unfortunately it’s not healthy inside the wood. It’s not safe, it could fall if wind gusts are strong. Safety first.

Tea itself is light with nice cherry or rather wild cherry flavour, not too strong though. Just right :)

And now, 9 hours shift awaits me. I will add photos of our tree back home (read: next day).

Awww! I hate to see a tree go, too. Cherry wood is beautiful. Maybe you could make something from it to preserve its memory.

Oh, I am so sorry your tree is not well! I Always said that if either our house or our dogwoods had to burn, but everyone would be safe, I would choose “house” because it can be rebuilt in a matter of months, but our precious old dogwoods that shelter me all summer coukd not be replaced in my lifetime.

I agree with White Antlers! Maybe a woodworker would like to harvest some wood from the tree to make something, perhaps a small box. Even if there are no large boards, people make lathe turned ink pens and such from nice wood.

I love your cherry tea tribute to your cherry tree. :)

White Antlers

Yes! What ashmanra said! A pen, or a staff for hiking, or even a cherry wood bowl. Something you could see and touch to remind you.

Thank you guys. I am thinking how to remind it. We don’t want let it burn only too :(

Oh! How beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing this picture, Martin.

Those trees are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing this picture. I imagine it is very peaceful to lie under those in the shade. There is a lot of wood there. Maybe it is time to take up spoon carving! Bowl making! Ha ha! I wish I knew how. But I do think a woodworker could make some nice things from that wood!

We will see what will happen. We want some memory, but if possible, not a dust catcher :D

Ashmanra: me and taking up a spoon carving? You want to me to hurt myself? Haha. I am just terribly unpractiacal when it comes to handwork.

Another tea from yesterday, so I can’t really remmeber much.

But I remmeber it was easy drinking bagged tea, with light – yet present cherry flavours. Tea base is very light, but there is no hibiscus or/and rosehips. It is indeed white tea with flavour.

I guess 82 is right.

Into envelope to you it goes then :) (I wanted to add it anyway)

My father received this tea in pharmacy as a gift. As I am that one, who “knows about tea” I was first one to drink it.

When opened the box, there was nothing in aroma. Really finely sealed bags, because nothing came out.

It contains white tea, aroma and sour cherry juice. Nothing more, nothing less.

I actually used almost boiling water, haven’t noticed they suggest lower temperature. Nevermind.

It is indeed not very aromatic tea. The white tea base is mellow and carefully selected. Of course it would not be top-notch white tea, but as a base it is way better than I expected. Then little sourness come, with cherry notes. Or rather sour cherry (třešeň x višeň in Czech). But it is not overpowering the base and it is not so strong to be annoying. Just accurate! How uncommon.

Flavors: Cherry, Cherry Blossom, Pleasantly Sour
