This one smells very floral almost perfumy even.
I don’t really care for this one myself, not because it is bad but just because it don’t fit my liking, i’m sure others would enjoy it.
Its floral and fruity and tart and slightly sweet, not really bad but just NOT my cup of tea.
Honestly to me it had some strange soapy taste to it but thats just my opinion tho, kinda tastes like somebody washed my cup out with soap and failed to get all the soap out and I know for sure that didn’t happen lol.
I tried to keep drinking it and as i did i realized that the soapy taste was just on the front for some reason, I could taste it while the tea was in my mouth but it didn’t linger or anything after swallowing, I likes to hold tea in my mouth and swish it around and enjoy it as much as i can so this didn’t really work out for me. I even tried it again the next day but still the same thing, at least it didn’t linger in my mouth all day.
Other than the soap it wasn’t really that bad, the tart was most likely from the hibiscus which i’m also not really fond of But this one is not quite as tart as many hibiscus teas that i have had, it had an ok flavor, I was hoping to be able to taste Pineapple in there but I couldn’t really….Oh Wait! theres Rosemary in there? hhhmmm i like rosemary but….. now it makes sense actually, come to think about it the Rosemary may have played a part in that soapy taste, working against the other ingredients and I also use a pretty strong Rosemary soap so I’m sure that dont help either.
Not bad, still Not My cup of tea tho.
Flavors: Floral, Fruity, Soap, Tart
This Tea tastes so good, I’m not really sure how it taste like Caramel but it does. It is Creamy and Smooth and just Dreamy. Very nice notes of Caramel and slight Cinnamon note, Slightly Nutty with a very slight Herbal type undertone(NOT a Medicinal tasting Herbal tho), Wonderful Tea!
I started sweating like MF when I was drinking this one, it had to be the this tea because i don’t sweat like that normally and i don’t always get all warm and fuzzy from tea(puerh maybe), maybe it is suppose to do that, i dunno, either way Damn good tea. I sweated more when drinking this one than i did when i was drinking the hot ass Mayan tea that i effed up when i broke the pepper up lol.
I’m really Glad the folks at Physique remembered after like 3 years since I first tried their teas, they were nice enough to send me some more.
Flavors: Caramel, Cinnamon, Creamy, Herbaceous, Nutty, Smooth
This one is tastey, Chocolately and Spicy and slightly Medicinal tasting. Each bag has a whole red Chili Pepper in it and it looks pretty BUT like a big ole Dummy I decided to break up the Chili Pepper in the bag that I tasted today. OMG!!! DON’T DO THAT!!! My first steep was with the Pepper whole and I broke it for the second steep, It was nice with the whole pepper and still good with the pepper broken but DAMN it was Hot, Like really spicy hot with all the pepper seeds broken out into the bag, VERY INTENSE. I think the pepper is suppose to be whole. I will try it again with the pepper intact for a better review. I really like it so far tho.
Oh, I’m not sure mine had Chicory in it as the description says because the ingredients on the sachet don’t list it.
When steeped with the pepper broked and sweetened a little and then left to cool, it tastes kinda like those little red cinnamon candies with a touch of cocao, I think they are called “Red Hots” (yes i sweetened it because it was HOT)
Flavors: Chocolate, Cinnamon, Medicinal, Pepper
holy hangover Batman! This was awesome for my massive headache today- which most pu-erhs are but it didn’t taste like dirt which was very refreshing. I re-steeped it many times. I just kept adding water over and over. I would def recommend this to anyone who needs to clean themselves up.
Preparation
I t got my box of Jade Blend and I just love it is delicious. The cucumber melon notes are very refreshing, I´ve have it cold and warm. I can drink it all day long because is a soft beverage I fell detox and lighter already plus it helps me with my sugar cravings :) Love it!!!!
Preparation
WHOOOOOPS! I put this tea in for coldsteeping Saturday night. It’s now Monday afternoon. I totally forgot about it, and my tea got shuffled to the back of the fridge behind the potato salad and milk.
This is pretty good cold steeped – the oolong base is really different and the herby bite is strong. I was expecting this tea to come out weak, as I only used one bag for 16oz of cold steep, though maybe steeping for extra long helped. I should really get some gaba oolong on its own.
Preparation
The final sample I received from Physique teas, TY!
I dig the Gaba Oolong base here – very good flavor that resteeped well! The berry fruityness was on the light side which sadly did not stay in future infusions. I noticed the same herby bite that was in their other blend, Jade – which I quite like.
I like Jade blend more for the more unique fruity flavor, though Orchid had a better base.
and POW! The tea bag exploded! Sigh. You’ll probably want to remove this tea from its bag too.

Preparation
yeah, I peeped in my small tea pot and there was a hole with leaves bursting out! Their tea bags felt durable, so not sure what happened. Unless the tea was trying to escape and burst into dance http://youtu.be/39YUXIKrOFk “I’m too sexy for my tea bag, yeh!” Ohh no, tea hyper (not from orchid blend though)!
sip down, yay!
Feeling less sick this morning, but more congested. I figure more pu’er will solve this! Pretty light, easy to drink pu’er, though not that interesting either. I was noticing how little tea is in this bag.
After this cup, off to do errands then the LA tea festival!
Oh, here’s my tea and owl themed manicure design I’m sporting

Preparation
Rethinking my rating on this one to lower. I’ve had some great pu’er since I last had this tea, and this one is really weak in comparison. Western steeping the tea doesn’t get very dark, and with shorter steeps, there is little change of flavor. The flavoring isn’t very complex. Quite dull really, like stereotypical diet food.
I iced it, as out of all the pu’er in my collection, this would ice the easiest as it is light on flavor to begin with. Came out light, with a bit of sap flavor with a 7 minute steeping, no rinse.
Preparation
Gah, everywhere I look, there’s samples that I need to sip down!
Time to work on this one! Ah, I didn’t realize this one was a sheng. I read http://www.teavivre.com/info/pu-erh-tea-weight-loss/ that you drink a pu’er after a meal it helps with weightloss. I need all the help I can get, along with all this crazy freaking exercise I do. Hopefully I burn my energy at brazilian jiu jitsu tonight – I never go thursdays. Something about “MMA/boxing gloves punching while jiujitsu neutralizing attacks” seems too scary for me. But I have to go, or I’ll never get a belt promotion. My plan? Hyper Pu’er energy + rolling up into a ball + spazzing out into leg attacking. Yeah, MMA isn’t my future career…
Screw the large bags plus I bet it’s plastic like other “silk” bags. So far so good. I wish there was more interest to this pu’er – it seems like this one very tea noob friendly, so no fishy or thick taste. Just earthy. No creamy, floral, nuttyness going on.
Preparation
Onyx has a nice light pu-erh taste – no fishyness or crazy strong robustness. The tea bag performed well here and did a good job letting out flavor and keeping all the leaves inside. Also, the tea bag held up perfectly with all the infusions – the durable physique tea bag was made for this tea!
I think this tea would be great to take to work, I’m thinking a Monday after a weekend of too much fun. Or, you are just coming back to work after a nasty cold. This tea is no fuss, reliable, easy to steep and keeps putting out flavor.
I got 5 resteeps and I could of gotten more – however, each resteep tasted the same. I was hoping for more depth or interest that I’ve gotten with other pu erhs.

Preparation
This one is quite nice, slightly sweet notes of sweet potato.
check out my blog post on this one please :) http://toadsteablog.blogspot.com/2013/01/pearl-single-leafe-tea-gaba-oolong-by.html
I got 3 samples from Physique and Jade blend is the first one for me to try.
Overall – Jade blend is a tasty blend of strawberry, melon and cucumber with a bit of a herby bite – very good for someone who wants a cool, juicy fruity tea hot or iced. If you are looking for a slimming tea, this one tastes pretty darn good, as I felt full drinking it. I got 2 decent resteepings out of it.
The bag performs not so great – leaking out grainy sandy bits that feel really rough on the tongue when you get to the end of your cup. The grainy effect stays for a couple resteepings. I strongly recommend to steep this tea using other methods. I used an ingenuiTEA, which filtered out all the texture.
I’m finding this hard to rate here on Steepster. Taste, for me a 85. With the sandy bits, a 50 to 65.
I went pretty indepth with photos and review on my blog, so please check it out! http://oolongowl.wordpress.com/2013/01/17/jade-blend-oolong-by-physique-tea-tea-review/
Preparation
I like this one it tastes and smells very good, it is very chocolatey and minty almost as good as junior mints or peppermint patties but there is something else going on with the flavor of this one that kinda throws off the “peppermint pattie” thing, it has spiced notes to it most likely because a big pretty pieces of star anise in each little bag, the chocolate mint or “peppermint pattie” is there and very recognizable but it is mingled with the flavors of the star anise and it actually taste more like eating a black jelly beans and then eating a peppermint pattie afterwards. That may not sound very interesting to some of you but honestly it was a quite enjoyable flavor combination that works very well This tea is quite tasty. I was pleasantly surprised by this one I didn’t read about it before tried it and wasn’t expecting the mint because it smells like all chocolate.
I see that some of the prices on the Physique site have changed, tho some of the teas are a bit pricey but I’m sure that somebody out there will love this tea and be more that glad to buy it without considering it’s price because it really does taste good :)
I’m glad to have someone we know here reviewing this tea after what happened a few weeks ago when some people popped up all of a sudden on steepster and gave rave reviews (they’re gone now).
I know right,I saw all that it was craziness. I’m glad to be here post an honest review, I have 2 more of their teas to review, so far so good, I’m looking forward to it :)
Chocolate notes are the strongest for any flavored tea i’ve tried; finally – a tea I don’t have to add in cocoa powder to get a good chocolate flavor. Aftertaste has a pleasant sweetness without being too pronounced.
This tea is drinkable any time of day, but would be especially tasty as an after meal treat.

maybe you guys could tell me how to write better reviews. I am new to steepster and just wrote what I felt. I have been getting into tea much more recently and wanted to see what others have to say. I didn’t see this tea posted on this site so I figured I would post it. I didn’t know what to say so I just cut and pasted from their website. I guess that was a faux pas. Sorry guys. On a side note the tea is really awesome.

This is a real tea added by one of the reviewers (scorpiorising) yesterday and then reviewed by the others all at once also. An obvious Vendor self promotion. Not what is supposed to happen here! We are not so stupid that we’d pay $39.95 on amazon for diet oolong anyway or diet puerh or mint chocolate oolong. Are they crazy?!
