Got this in a tea swap with Hapatite! I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about an instant tea, but this is good. I think this would be a nice dessert tea, because it is creamy and mellow. It’s sweetened, so there isn’t any bitterness. I’m glad I got to try it!
Preparation
sipdown! This has been in my cupboard for a bit and i keep forgetting about it, mostly because i’m not sure how i feel about “instant tea.” Overall though, this isn’t half bad. It reminds me of how i used to think red rose orange pekoe tasted with milk. Only now that tastes horrible and this doesn’t. if that makes any sense. lol Thanks to Azzrian for sending this to me waaaay back when i was just starting out with this whole tea thing lol
I won’t cheat and call this single-serve packet a sipdown, because I know full well that there’s one more. But it’s a mini-win, regardless. And a tasty one! I’ve been craving milk tea for a bit, especially after Evol Ving Ness mentioned it. I had picked up a couple bottled versions from the local T & T (Lipton brand, as it was on sale), but they were quite floral and tasted like regret. So this is a nice change. It’s a very classic “tea” taste (not floral!!), milky and sweetened. Probably not the best choice for 2:57am, but maybe extra caffeine will help me out when the baby next starts fussing? Or not.
Either way, appreciative of this share from Azzrian way back when!
I’m now sad that “Regret” isn’t one of the options from the drop-down list in the Tasting Notes flavors list…
Yum! Got some of this from Azzrian a while back, and felt like something different tonight in addition to everything else. Good choice self, cuz this is tasty! Not something I’d have too often, because I’m sure it’s loaded with calories, but it’s pretty tasty. Pretty much an instant sweet tea latte made with a sort of creamer instead of milk. One of the only downsides is that this makes a pretty tiny cup of tea, as one packet is only good for something like 150mL of hot water. Either way, thanks for letting me try some of this out, Azzrian! I should take the other two packets to work, as I have no sugar there to sweeten things the odd time I crave it.
Preparation
Finishing my pack of this from Azzrian, (who said she had more for me, I think, so I’m okay with finishing it.)
It’s still milky and wonderful, and sweet and has this nice flavor. I put a little bit of cinnamon in it this time, just to give it some kick. I love it just as much as before, and can definitely taste more milk this time.
Azzrian I am a happy camper!
This tea is instant, a powder that comes in a little packet, and it’s really yummy to me.
Smell: Dry, in the mug. It doesn’t really smell. It’s just a powdered tea, not much to say. Once mixed with the water, it smells like some sort of tea. I can’t really say which, but I’d say a black tea, or a sort of weaker chai.
Taste: It just screams chai latte to me, without a whole bunch of spices. There is a flavor there that I recognize, and I can taste milk. Two packs of sugar had to go in, because by itself, though good, it wasn’t sweet enough. But once I sweeten it, OH GOSH! I love it! It’s just creamy and yummy and has this spice that is light, and there, but not overly so. I’m very happy with it, and it is instant, so it can be a quick thing.
I put steep time at 15 seconds, just because you pour the water and it is somewhat mixed already, but you stir it and it is good to go.

So hard to think of this as tea. Its creamy, it has a good flavor, black tea I guess, it says “instant” so I don’t know.
I got this from Enjoyingtea.com
Its sort of a cross between a hot cocoa, a latte and a tea.
I like it and am enjoying this cup. I like that the packages are individually wrapped so I can share it with others.
Not bad at all, just not sure what to think of it.
