I havent tried this one but my friend bought it from their stall in a food fair. She says its divine. :( Sucks that I dont drink black tea, but am almost tempted to try it since I loved all the other Karma Blends teas! I dont see them in any stores though. Well…their website for all those who want it is www.karmablends.com!
Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this blend.
This is really quite nice. The white tea is soft and sweet and I’m loving the flavor combination of mint and clove. The apple starts out really subtle and then develops as I continue to sip, and the clove accents the apple tones very well. At first glance, the combination seemed a bit weird but, all of these ingredients work so well together. It is like one of those things that is so familiar but at the same time not quite like anything I’ve ever tasted before: a little like chai, but then again, not quite chai. Almost a little apple cider-y, but, only almost. Minty, apple-y, warm and cozy, sweet and just really, really good.
I really like this a lot.
Thank you TeaEqualsBliss for sending me a bit of this tea. It is a delightful, restorative blend that is just perfect for today. It is a really nice pick-me-up. The flavors are very well balanced – not too much mint or lemon, and just the right amount of green tea to provide a good, solid base of freshness and flavor. It is crisp and sweet and it has just enough tangy flavor to it too, Just a really pleasant cup of tea – relaxing and invigorating in its own way.
Okay…so…this is unique in EVERY way!
When I saw this had mint candies in it I nearly giggled with glee! When I saw the textures of all the ingredients I was very curious! THEN…when I infused this tea – I was shocked and amazed! You see…the color of the infused liquid is something I have never seen before! It’s like a murky pink/peach/gray color. The aroma is gentle mint and even gentler apple. The taste is a nice white tea with a juice but not tart apple and lovely mint notes.
This is so different yet so FAB! WOW! I really REALLY like this!
This smells like Caramel and chai! More-so Caramel. It’s a wonderful Caramel Aroma! The taste is more chai than caramel but I can still taste the caramel flavor. This is very strong but it works! This is a nifty and hefty cup!
Ok, this tasting note makes me want to run to Starbucks, even though I know their version wouldn’t be nearly as good. I may need to play around today if I’m feeling up to it.
Tonight, I had very spicy pasta for dinner, so I’m hoping that this will keep my tummy in check!
I was worried that this would taste very medicinal – but it has a pleasant enough taste. I like the combination of spices here, they lend a nice warmth to the cup. The Anise even gives it a little bit of a licorice-y taste! Not bad at all!
Thanks to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this!
Preparation
I dont know why I waited this long to try this tea. I was so done with anything that looked Christmas…had an OD this year!
Well, It looks good, smells good and tastes…uh! so good.
To my surprise, the tea was silver needle and there was some saffron in their so my tea looked so orange :)
Downside: I was looking for actual apple pieces but anyway, there was plenty of cider flavor – though not real apples…works for me!
I’ve held off on trying this one because I haven’t been sick…
but I can’t hold off any more! I NEEDED to try it! I thought it would be good to have right now because of the astringent tasting tea I just consumed…I thought the mint and eucalyptus would freshen my breath! :)
I will say this is very mint and refreshing to the nose! (I almost type nostrils! LOL)
Of course the primary taste is also mint/eucalyptus but I am getting a good deal of licorice which I normally find distracting in most cases but not this one! It works well as the 3rd noticeable flavor here!

I would have to say…this is probably one of my favorite medicinal-type herbal teas to date!
Fennel! Fennel! I smell Fennel! Oye! I hope it doesn’t taste as intense as it smells!
I love the name of this company and their logo! Just have to mention that!
This ‘steeps’ into a yellowish color. Smells like Chamomile and Fennel – just like it said it would.
Well.
Not what I was expecting…in a good way tho!
You know I am not into Chamomile but with Fennel it changes the way it works – I’m not saying I love it and would buy 1,000 boxes but it’s not bad for an herbal tea. Not bad at all…the more I sip it.
My sister gave me this tea as she was emptying her apartment and moving out. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it. You can taste the peppermint and cinnamon very distinctly. Its really yummy.
Its a bit strong though, so i have to be very careful about the steeping time. Tastes yummy with sugar.
Wonder what anyone else thinks!
Preparation
This one – dont even think about. I passed the entire winter without getting sick once, and for me that is a miracle. The taste of ginger is quite strong – and it works better when you steep it for longer, or may be even boil it if you can.
I tried it with lemon and honey and it was yummy, yummy, yummy.
Yummy and Effective!
Preparation
Well! Hazel…this is one you should not miss. I bought the same thing in tea bags, and it was wonderful. So light to drink and so refreshing.
I dont know if I can say that it provides immediate relief for acidity, but sure seems like it prevents it. I carried this one on the flight, since I air sick quite easily and this tea worked quite well. However, if you want to buy it for acidity – I would recommend the tea bags over the loose tea as its easier to brew when you are sick.
Let me know what you think – once you have a chance to try it!
