Perfect for drinking in the evening when you don’t want the caffeine but want a substantial drink. Made me very relaxed, too. I don’t usually go for rooibus, but this is very yummy! Put a little milk in it, probably will be good with some honey…

Such a good drink for the summer! Really inexpensive & easy to make, too!

If you like Houjicha, this shares that nutty taste (Den’s Houjicha is great iced, too).

I think this tea is awesome! I like lighter tasting tea, so I didn’t follow Adagio’s recommendations for brewing:

1st infusion: 1.5 tsp/8 oz, 2 mins @ 170 degrees.
2nd: same as above, 3 mins

It’s a beautiful, incredibly refreshing cold tea on a summer day.

Preparation
170 °F / 76 °C 2 min, 0 sec

Beautiful in all respects. & I love the peaceful look of good green tea in a nice cup.

Brewed like Den’s website suggests: 1 tsp/3 oz water. First infusion at 180 degrees for a minute was great, but the second, done at boiling for just 15 seconds, was just awesome.

The mental well-being this tea produces is amazing, too. Made me smile without even realizing it :-)
