4 Tasting Notes
I’m usually not much of a drinker of black teas, but I needed a certain boost earlier and found myself turning to Irish Breakfast Tea as my first resort. I definitely tasted the malt in the tea, and found it strong, but in a way that wasn’t too over-bearing. Mixing it with a bit of vanilla soy milk definitely toned it down to perfection for me, but this will certainly be something I’ll be drinking in the morning to keep me going!
Preparation
This was delicious! I’ve always had a fondness for a fruity tea, and this one definitely had me impressed. I made sure that it was cooled down after seeing recommendations that you definitely wanted to wait, and was greeted by the pleasant taste of passionfruit. The mango was definitely understated in comparison, but this is definitely a tea that is staying on my shelf. Yummy!
Preparation
I tried this tea from a set that I received as a gift from a friend for Christmas, and as one who’s partial to the taste of licorice I was extremely disappointed. The smell seemed welcoming and familiar, and upon first tasting it I was pleased. It had a pleasant, light licorice flavour.
However, the aftertaste of this tea was extremely sweet, and it quickly became overpowering. I couldn’t decide exactly what flavour it was that had me so displeased, but after a few more attempts at trying this tea it went to waste.
Such a shame, as I have such fondness for Stash teas, and licorice, but this is not one that I’ll try again.
