I’ve had this once before, and hadn’t been sure what to make of it. I figured, whatever, I’ll try it again later. Now is this later.

It’s very subtle, but has a very fascinating, soft floral flavor to it. It’s refreshing and smooth, and at one point I just got a very faint fruity note. At first I thought it was silver needle but a lower quality, but no- same region, yes, but not the same exact flavor by a long shot. Floral, soft, subtle, light- it’s something, but very much appreciated for what it is.

Pegging it in momentarily as “wouldn’t recommend” as most folks I know like nonwhite teas, and that for a white tea, the flavor is nonetheless pretty quiet rather than other white teas I’ve had. It’s certainly not “meh”- from a 50, up to 60 for the unique complex flavors (however soft) and up to 70 for the fact that it stands out on its own from other white teas.
