Second time trying this tea. I upped the leaf and steeped for a shorter amount of time with cooler water. I’m getting a more umami and savory flavor out of the tea. Must tastier than last time. I have a ton of wet leaf left over since my boyfriend wanted a cup, so I’m going to cold brew the rest.

Hi, I’ve just discovered the wide world of tea. I’m still trying to find out what my preferences are, although I’ve discovered I enjoy Chinese teas more than Indians. I love ripe pu-erhs; I haven’t tried any raws yet, but would love to. Never tried oolongs before (hope to take care of that very soon). I like the flavor of plain teas, so I tend to avoid anything mixed with stuff. I do love those jasmine scented green though.
