Brewed for 4 minutes in 8 oz water and added warmed milk and a bit of honey and thinking it would bring out the flavors, but it was like a cup of faintly scented warm milk.
While brewing I smelled ginger and cinnamon, but couldn’t taste the ginger at all and the cinnamon was faint. I didn’t want to brew it too strong or end up with a bitter cup so stuck to 4 minutes, but used enough tea that it should have been on the stronger side. The color of the tea was certainly dark, but no real flavor. This was a disappointment as I don’t have a go-to chai and really want to find a staple for my cupboard.
