Grab your facinator and sip afternoon tea like our friends across the pond. Okay, you don’t really need a facinator but they’re so fun…Fabulous and filling afternoon tea. Impressive tea selection – if they still have it try to Snow White (white tea w pear, pineapple and red peppercorns…delicious). I bought a bag to take home and even though it’s double bagged and in a container I can still smell it throughout the kitchen. Fabulous (and warm!) scones with a variety of flavors to choose from. Accommodating servers – no one in my family likes tuna or egg salad…no problem (or if it was they didn’t let it show…they simply subbed some other tea sandwiches in for us).

The table across from us had soup and salad…looked deliciously fresh and big! I’ll probably never try b/c I could never go to a place with afternoon tea and get something else BUT it certainly looked and smelled tasty.

Amazing that a little place tucked in to a strip mall off of Route 40 can transport you to a tea house in London. I’ve been (to both!) and this is as good as it gets. Successfully decorated like a comfortable victorian dining room. GREAT selection of teas. Fantastic tea sandwiches (bonus is that you get to choose which you want!). The thought of their scones is making my mouth water (again, you get a choice of flavors). Service was spot on (I think it was a variety of family members that waited on us). Looking forward to finding another occasion to celebrate just so I can go back.
