This is a lovely clear, light, bright fragrant black tea. Perfectly balanced. No bitterness, no astringency. Just a sweet fragrant “tea” flavour and a clean, fresh aftertaste. Just a hint of citrus, but not overpowering.

Fantastic! Dry, it smells like a slightly lemon scented dragon well. Steeped, it starts with sweet corn, fills the mouth with sweet grass/straw/nuts and finishes with a surprising and amazingly strong citrus peel that lasts and lasts. Really nice!

This was my first and only Yellow tea. I didn’t expect the smokiness, so was quite shocked. I expected it to be more gentle… in between green and white, but it was quite strong and smoky. It wasn’t terrible, but not a big fan so far, but would like to try other yellows for comparison.

I’m not a fan of smokey yellow tea either. Sometimes it can have a more nutty taste, like a Dragonwell. I really enjoy those types of yellow tea!

This is a green tea, flavoured to taste like Milk Oolong. It’s good. I like it. It’s not as great as a loose leaf natural Oolong, but a bit more flavourful than a basic green. It’s a pretty good teabag approximation of real Milk Oolong. I drink it when I’m feeling too lazy to make leaf-tea.

Loved this tea when I first bought it… rich, dark, sweet.
But now I find the smell nauseating! It’s too too much!! Too too rich. The smell gives me a headache and I’d like to get rid of it!

Strong! If you like strong black tea, I suppose it’s good. Not my favourite.

I rinse the leaves to open them up, and then steep it for a short time, under 30 seconds. As I wait, I notice the floral notes, but it also smells like honey to me.
The taste is pure and earthy, with hints of apples and florals… not as strong as jasmine or rose, but equally enchanting. There is a sweet after-taste, still of honey.
This is a beautiful, delicately perfume-y oolong which I would be happy to serve to friends. It’s not strong, weird, or frightening. It’s a great pick-me-up

I bought this months ago because it was cheap and I liked the tin. I haven’t yet been able to brew it, as I can’t get past the artificial smell. It’s supposed to be a blend of rose + cantaloupe, and you can definitely smell them. But it’s so overpoweringly artificial… it gives me a headache. I have TONS of it! EEK!!

I absolutely hated this fake smoke tea. It contaminates everything it touches, and leaves the whole kitchen reeking of smoke. I was ready to write off LS altogether… but then I tried a real LS from Tea Classico which is really smoked over pine wood, and was soooo much more natural and subtle. The difference between the fakey ‘smoke-flavour’ and the actual, natural pine smoke was like night and day. I’m not a sales-rep or anything… I just couldn’t believe such a difference. This one from DAVIDs …. I couldn’t drink it… used it for cooking meatloaf, and it was still overpowering and bad!!
