This reminds me of the kind of Oolong you would get at a nice oriental restaurant, except darker. Definitely woodsy, dark in color, nice smell to it. Would be good to drink after eating too much at the “all you can eat bar”

First sip and I knew this was good tea. I got a chocolate note coming thru. Very nice white tea.

I like this, it’s a light tasting black tea. Easy to sip, nothing too outstanding about the flavor, just nice to drink.

drank Da Hong Pao by Dobra Tea

Had a pot of this at the Asheville Dobra tea house, flavor came thru very well over three infusions. It had a classic Oolong taste with a roasted flavor. Very Dark, smooth and easy to drink. Dobra is a nice place to sit & chat over a cup of tea.

drank Guayusa Spice by Runa

Could sense the cinnamon coming thru, adding a nice warmth to the blend. Overall easy drinking, didn’t need sweetener, which is a sign of an excellent brew. I didn’t experience a jolt of any sort, but rather a gentle lift. Nice tea.

Very drinkable as Morning Bus said, reminds me of an earthy Peony. Could be an “acquired taste” to some. I like how Runa connects the tea to the people where it grows, providing cultural stimulus to consider while you sip the tea. I liked seeing the videos of them drinking it early in the am around the campfire…(runa.org)

A golden colored Oolong, mild and pleasant. A bit astringent, so I added a bit of local honey. A few steeping’s later it’s sure to make you smile. Oolong – what an amazing tea.

It tasted like a mild Oolong with fruity notes, I enjoyed it…twice. Nice color. I’d grab this one if it was on sale.

It’s got some zest from the Lemon & Ginger, and the Tulsi flavor comes thru. A warm, relaxing cup of tea. This one would be nice if you had a cold and were hanging around the house, reading or staring out the window.

Simple – mere; honest; without pretense.

My cup goes with me…
and my french press isn’t far.

Three things I am very thankful for,
Fire, Fish & Tea.

Two things needed for Tea…
time and a friend.

Here is a tea poem, not mine but I like it…

A Cup of Tea

A cup of tea at the crack of dawn
Uplifts the spirit and inspires the heart.

A cup of tea after a meal
Clears the mouth and helps the stomach.

A cup of tea amid the bustle of life
Relieves parched throat and dispels vexation.

A cup of tea when you’re overworked
Soothes muscle and bone and dissolves fatigue.
