Reading the reviews of this tea made me want to drink it. So, I made myself a cup. It’s not as well-steeped as I’d like because my beloved cheesecloth steeper finally got too gross to use, and my other cheesecloth is too small for my favourite mug, so I had to use the steeping spoon. I don’t think it did as good a job. But I’m not here to review methods of steeping!
Using brown sugar in it, as David’s Tea suggests, is wonderful. This tea is so perfectly pumpkin-y. Someday I’ll make it with steamed milk… (daydreams) It really is the quintessential fall tea. I find it a bit odd to drink it at other times.
