Sometimes it’s nice to go back to tea basics and this Nilgiri is perfect for that. Very smooth and malty and full-bodied.

Got this brewed at the store. They brewed it really strong. Tastes very nutty and kind of harsh. Should have bought the leaves and made it at home.

drank Apple Kiwi by Souvia Tea Shop

It’s 75 degrees here on this February day in the Sonoran desert, and this Apple Kiwi green is just the think for those first glimpses of summer. Green tea is what I drink mostly in the summer and the refreshing kiwi taste compliments it so well!

Preparation
165 °F / 73 °C 3 min, 0 sec 3 tsp 24 OZ / 709 ML

The blueberry definitely over-powers the matcha taste. Slightly sweet, very creamy. Tiny bit of of grass in the aroma but doesn’t really carry over.

Preparation
150 °F / 65 °C 2 tsp 1 OZ / 16 ML

Relatively new to tea (just shy of 5 years). Finally starting to branch into orthodox teas and it seems like the more I try them the more I want to try THEM ALL! Working on my tasting words, so bear with me. :D
