4 Tasting Notes
I drink this as a weekend tea or for winding down. Just caffeinated enough to get me up on a weekend morning and special feeling with it’s fruity smell. Good flavor although it’s hard to describe exactly what it tastes like. The box describes it as “winy plum and sweet apricot notes” but I’m not quite sure about that. Either way it’s a good cup of tea.
This needs sugar. It’s a strong tea, stronger than the Trader Joe’s English Breakfast which I am a fan of. I find that it’s rather bitter for my taste on it’s own and needs sugar in order for me to enjoy it but it isn’t my favorite. On the plus side it gets me up in the morning.
Preparation
A very smooth cup of black tea that is easy to drink. It doesn’t have the bitter or sharp aftertaste that sometimes come with drinking a lot of Earl Grey, which was my favorite black tea. If I can get my hands on a box it may be my new breakfast tea.
