9 Tasting Notes
My significant other got me this tea, and I added it to my pure green tea collection. Let me start off by saying that the taste is almost similar to the Gyokuro Yamishiro Tea. Take a little vegetal taste away and it is much more milder. I enjoy this it is a rich almost creamy vegtable broth. It smells of fresh cut grass and taste like sweet green beans. I really do like the after taste that lingers on the pallet hard to put a exact taste to it, but I’d say somewhere between bok chow or fresh collard greens. Something very deep and rich in green color and it doesn’t disappoint.
Flavors: Bok Choy, Broth, Earth, Grass, Green Beans, Nutty, Vegetal, Wood
Preparation
mmm, let me see I just brewed a cup now. It is a very pale green color almost the color of light grass. It smells very vegetal, its creamy, grassy, and earthy. It is a must for morning for me. I really do enjoy having a pure tea like this one as it is much more focused on the flavour of the tea rather than other components that are added. I would recommend this to any tea connoisseur is loves pure green teas. It is much different than anything I have had and is delicate I would say.
Flavors: Creamy, Earth, Grass, Vegetal
Preparation
Decided to purchase this tea after reading about it on their website. When I got to Davids Tea I wanted to smell it to see if it really did smell like ripe plum as the description said. I didn’t really get that note until I got home and opened the bag. It smelt really fruity and when brewed there were hints of stonefruit, plum, and nuttiness.
Flavors: Earth, Fruity, Honey, Plum, Stonefruit, Sweet, Umami
Preparation
I picked this tea up when I was going to buy some other green teas from Davids Tea. I didn’t know what it would taste like, but the smell reminded me of my trip to South Korea. When I brewed the tea the smell was very rice like and almost reminded me of the traditional Korean corn tea taste. It was a very pleasant taste and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a little something different other than there regular green tea.
Flavors: Earth, Rice, Vegetal
Preparation
It would have to be one of my favorite rooibos teas. I love the floral lemony aroma. It definitely has a earthy flavors in it from the red rooibos needles. It is nice to have during the evening, it is also one of those “warm me up teas.”
Preparation
I ordered this from DavidsTea and the shipping was extremely fast. I have to say this tea is everything it is said to be. It really has a nice jasmine aroma followed by earthy tones and honey after tones. It makes me feel warm on a cold day like today. I would recommend it to any tea connoisseur.
Preparation
I found that this tea was not as good as I’d hoped. It has light smokey tones and a floral taste aroma. I also found for the price of the is it is lacking in quality however it would be nice to add to any connoisseurs collection.
Preparation
This tea as many other have said is very floral. I find it has a very relaxing scent and that it is probably one of my favorite teas from Davidstea. I usually stick to just one ingredient in my tea but this has changed my mind on it. I would recommend it to any tea connoisseur. It also has a fabulous taste that just plays on the senses.
