15 Tasting Notes
Lovely green tea. I brewed at the lower recommended temperature tonight and it made a big difference. Not at all bitter. Pretty pale yellow green color. I’m having 3rd steep now and it is still very good.
Preparation
Opened new bag and had beautiful experience. I was so disappointed with a previous brand, so this was very pleasant. I used my cute Yixing frog on lotus pot and brewed gong fu style. Leaves unfurled beautifully. Lovely sweet finish. I did four steeps but could probably done more.
Flavors: Anise, Flan
Preparation
Disappointed with this tea. I think it a combination of poor quality and being old. Takes a long tome to steep. Anise overpowering, can’t really taste tea. Leaves don’t unfurl inthe pot. Time to let this one go.
Flavors: Anise
Preparation
I love this tea with a little milk. I drink in my grandmother’s bone china cup and saucer and feel like I’m going back in time. Fairly strong black tea. Bergamot and anise is there but subtle. One of my favorite.
