I bought two of these a few months ago. One of them got a round hole, not a crack, in the inner layer. It made me wonder if glass is used on the inside layer? or is a plastic insert? I am searching out a glass cup and saucer and be glad to bid these goodbye.

I really like this. I’m not sure what the previous posters mean by “obnoxiously smokey”. You can never have too much! I can taste the maple in this quite well. A smoking jacket might go with this tea. So far none of the 8 teas I got from Tealux are really mightily strong tasting. this one maybe is my fave. what’s with the water temperature thing; you’re kidding right? All the rest of you are using thermomators?
